On Wednesday, March 18th at 2:20pm in the WHS Cafe, the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Dept. will be holding its lottery for students applying to Tech 1 level classes for the upcoming '26 - '27 school year. The lottery will be for any programs that received more applications than seats.

UPDATED (3.16.26) - This year, the lottery will include the following Chapter 74 programs:

Auto Tech

Carpentry

Cosmetology

Electrical

Health Assisting

*For students who applied to any of these specific programs, you are welcome to attend the lottery to see if your name is drawn for a Tech 1 spot for next year. If you do not attend, you will be notified by the high school whether or not you were selected.

Any interested parties are welcome to attend the lottery.
