Waltham Public Schools provides written translation and oral interpretation services for our many multilingual families whose first language is not English. School staff must use the forms below to request written translation or oral interpretation services according to the instructions below. Additional information can be found on the request form.

Requests are sent using the Written Translation Request form following the instructions in the form. Translations are completed within at least 5 school days. Urgent requests must be noted on the form along with the date and time needed and someone from the office will contact you to confirm receipt of the request. For languages other than Spanish, more time may be needed to coordinate outside resources.

An Oral Translation Request Form must be completed when requesting interpreters for phone calls, meetings or conferences with Parents or Guardians. Please contact your principal to request services provided by the Parent Liaison in your school.
