The Right to Immigration Institute

The Right to Immigration Institute (TRII-pronounced "tree") is a nonprofit and the first of its kind to apply the law school clinic model to the undergraduate level for immigration law. By training undergraduate students so they can become representatives for non-citizens in immigration court, TRII aims to make sure no one must face the immigration process alone. TRII provides help with citizenship, asylum, Temporary Protected Status (TPS), Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), and general questions. 

Legal Information

AILA

AILA is the only legal association in the United States for immigration attorneys. More than 14,000 immigration lawyers are members of AILA.

The National Immigration Project

The National Immigration Project promotes justice and equality of treatment in all areas of immigration law, the criminal justice system, and social policies related to immigration. Their area of expertise include criminal and deportation defense and fighting immigration enforcement.

Catholic Charities

Catholic Charities offers new and future citizens support during the long process of adjusting to new surroundings and becoming active participants in their communities. Our services include Refugee Resettlement, Community Interpreter Services, Immigration Legal Services, and more.

Greater Boston Legal Services

The Immigration Unit within Greater Boston Legal Services provides legal representation and advocates on behalf of low-income immigrants. Their goal is to enable our clients to become documented and ultimately to attain permanent legal status in the United States.

De Novo

De Novo provides high-quality, free civil legal assistance to low-income people living in Greater Boston, and to immigrants and refugees statewide. We offer legal assistance in the areas of housing and homelessness prevention, family law/domestic violence, immigrant and refugee rights, and disability benefits.
