About ParentSquare
ParentSquare is a unified communication platform that offers a host of tools that allows district, school administrators, and teachers to communicate and engage with families and students. Some features include:
Mass notifications and Urgent Alerts with two-way communication
Mobile application for administrators and parents (iOS and Android)
Attendance notifications
Teacher and classroom communication
Direct Messaging with two-way translation
Forms and Permission Slips
Appointment Sign Ups (parent-teacher conferences, technology pick-ups)
Calendar and RSVP
Volunteering and classroom sign-ups
ParentSquare is the district’s new two-way communications platform that provides instant translations in many languages and will be used for items such as posts, newsletters, inclement weather notifications, group communications, calendars, report cards, volunteer sign-ups and more.
While it is not required, we highly suggest all parents/caregivers: 1) download the ParentSquare app from the Google Play Store or Apple Store, and 2) register your ParentSquare account with the email address that is connected to your student through your Waltham Aspen account. Video Tutorial
After you have registered your ParentSquare account, we suggest that you check and potentially adjust your notification settings to control how often you receive messages and by which method (text message, phone app, or email). You can receive message alerts once a day or as they are sent.
