WHS National Honor Society

The National Honor Society (NHS) recognizes outstanding high school students who demonstrate excellence in (1) scholarship, (2) leadership, (3) service, and (4) character. Membership in Waltham High School’s chapter of NHS is by invitation during a student’s junior or senior year.

Students in the class of 2027 will need a weighted cumulative GPA of 3.7 to be invited to apply for membership in the Waltham High School chapter of the National Honor Society. Students in the class of 2028 and beyond will need a weighted cumulative GPA of 4.0 to be invited to apply, and will require 10 documented hours of community service to be accepted.

Congratulations to the Graduating Class of 2026!

Reminder: to graduate with an NHS stole and seal on your diploma, you need to have completed 30 hours of community service and maintained a cumulative weighted GPA of 3.7. You will receive your NHS stoles at Awards Night on June 4th at 7pm.
