New Hire Information
Forms
- There are several tasks for new hires to complete. Some of these tasks will be completed online, and others will need to be completed in person (I-9 form, CORI, fingerprinting and benefits enrollment). New hires will receive an email with a link to complete required forms through our online onboarding system (PowerSchool). If you are a new hire and have not received an email or are having difficulty logging in, please email hr@walthampublicschools.org.
CORI and Fingerprinting
- In addition to the forms in the onboarding checklist, all new hires must complete a CORI (criminal record check) and fingerprinting. CORI forms may completed at the Superintendent's Office. For more information on fingerprinting, see the links below.

Health and Dental Insurance is available to benefits eligible employees. Completed forms must be submitted to the Payroll Office with original ink signatures. If you will be enrolling in a Harvard Pilgrim or Tufts Health Plan and wish to also enroll in Delta Dental (at no additional cost), please complete the separate Delta Dental Form.

Heath Insurance
To avoid delay in processing your enrollment please ensure that all forms are filled out completely and submitted with original ink signatures and required documentation. In order to enroll a spouse or dependent child to your health plan the City requires an original marriage and/or birth certificates.

Dental Insurance
Delta Dental insurance is provided to Harvard Pilgrim and Tufts plan members at no additional cost. Dental insurance is not offered with the Blue Cross Blue Shield plan.
