Emma Herzog, Principal
Emma Herzog is the very proud Principal of Whittemore Elementary School. Emma worked as a bilingual teacher, lead teacher, and coach in San Antonio, Texas. She received her M.Ed. From Harvard University Graduate School of Education in School Leadership and has school leadership experience in Boston Public Schools and Lawrence Public Schools. Emma loves working in Waltham and serving the Whittemore community. She feels lucky to work alongside exceptional faculty members, community members, and families to ensure that all students receive an excellent, equitable education.
Andrew Ahmadi, Assistant Principal
Andrew is the proud assistant principal at Whittemore Elementary School. Prior to joining the fantastic team at Whittemore, Andrew worked with the administration team at McDevitt Middle School while completing his Master’s in School Leadership at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Andrew has worked as an elementary educator, baseball coach and youth sports director. In his free time, Andrew enjoys rock climbing, reading, playing baseball, and spending time with his wife and two dogs. He also is an enthusiastic Costco shopper.
