I would say that watching "Chill With Bob Ross" inspired my artwork because I watched some of his episodes and got inspired to make a mountain landscape. The media I used was watercolor paper, watercolor, tempera paint, water, newspaper, and brushes (both for tempera and watercolor).
A challenge I overcame to create this piece was trying to make things look more realistic such as adding highlight to the mountains and trees, making a white line around the lake, or by dragging the shadows into the lake. I learned that I like using a combination of watercolor and tempera paint to make artwork because I think it blends together and makes it all look more realistic. I also learned how to make basic shapes to represent things such as trees or mountains.
I would want the viewer to know that I made a rough sketch before I painted and even tried painting the mountains on another piece of paper to practice my mountain making skills.
I wouldn't mind having my piece displayed because I am proud of the work I accomplished.
