Congratulations Brandon Zuniga

Senior Brandon Zuniga

Brandon is the oldest son of two children to Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Zuniga whom resides in Waltham, Massachusetts. At an early age, Brandon’s passion for technology began when he was first introduced to Gameboy Advanced SP. Before entering high school Brandon spent the majority of his time learning about electronics through gaming, online videos, and learning the components to build a computer.

As a ninth grader, Brandon recalls one class in particular that engaged him, Electronics. Over the next four years of building his knowledge in the Electronics Program at Waltham High School, Brandon excelled in his Career and Technical Program, being involved in extracurricular activities and working at his Co-op placement at Liberty Engineering Inc. He has taken a rigorous course of study, is a member of the National Honor Society, Entrepreneurship Club, the
Spanish Club and a member of the Waltham High Soccer Team.

His teachers described him as a highly motivated, respectful, and focused student. He is currently developing a program for the Vex Robot and is a tremendous help to his teachers and fellow students. Brandon holds a 4.43 GPA and is the recipient of a John and Abigail Adams Scholarship. He is also a Co-op student at Liberty Engineering, Inc. where he maintains a 98% performance average. His
employer CEO, Alec Chevalier remarks, “Brandon has been a great employee and is now a valuable and trusted member of our team here.  We really depend on him for a number of critical activities to ensure we are meeting our customer needs.  He handles all his tasks with enthusiasm and is reliable, trustworthy, and shows maturity beyond his age. We’re very glad we found him!”

Brandon is excited to take his next step in pursuing a career in Electrical Engineering. Following his passion and creating something that others can benefit from is very important to him. He has been accepted to the school of his choice, the University of Massachusetts in Lowell, and will continue his studies there next fall in the Electrical Engineering Program making his mark on the world.
