Welcome to Waltham High School, home of the Hawks! 

Waltham High School is located ten miles west of the great city of Boston, MA. In a community full of history and pride, our 1,500+ students learn from a dedicated staff of over 130 teachers. Students at our comprehensive high school have a myriad of opportunities to be involved in their learning through career & technical education pathways, the fine and performing arts, STEM electives, athletics, and more.

The 24-hr Read-a-Thon is back!! All WHS students in good academic standing are encouraged to apply for the Read-a-Thon. We are looking for a mix of all four grade levels and a variety of interests and backgrounds. Students should have a genuine interest in reading and the enthusiasm and stamina to last all 24 hours for this high-energy event. The read-a-thon dates are 7:30am Friday, March 22- 7:30am, Saturday, March 23.

Community Conversation on Waltham High School Equity Priorities

On behalf of Waltham Public Schools, The Waltham Boys and Girls Club invites all families, students, faculty, staff, and community members of Waltham High School to join us in a community dialogue on the Priorities Survey Results and a panel discussion on race, equity, and diversity. We want to hear from all of our stakeholders to shape the future of WHS and fulfill our mission to provide an excellent and equitable education to ALL students.
Waltham Public Schools Private Music Lessons Program
