Kid Pix 4 (network)  (grades K-4) is a multimedia presentation program designed to help students in grades K-4 to create presentations in any of Waltham's curriculum areas. For example, an important Science unit in second grade is the study of Tide Pools, with a visit to Plum Island. Supportive of this unit, students can use Kid Pix Studio Deluxe to create an on-line Tide Pools slide show complete with graphics and sound, such as student voices, which then can be printed out in book format.  KidPix3 Tutorial - Learning Electric    Technical Support

Kidspiration version 3 (grades K-3)  is a computer-based graphic organizer. It integrates visual mapping with outlining to help students comprehend concepts and information. The diagram view is used to create and modify concept maps, idea maps, webs and other graphical organizers, while the Outline view helps users quickly prioritize and rearrange ideas. Kidspiration license include Teacher Take Home Privileges that allow teachers to install Kidspiration on their home computers for lesson planning and preparation.
