Elementary Instructional Technology Toolbox - Hardware
Summary of hardware tools: Each classroom is equipped with one teacher computer that has a DVD drive, connected to a television monitor (LCD projectors in Fitzgerald and Whittemore schools). Each classroom also has student computers (1-4) with a networked b/w laser printer (except kindergarten which has a color inkjetprinter).
Color printing is available in the computer lab (see Instructional Technology Specialist for more details.)

Basic Classroom Amplification system with a wireless microphone with a wireless receive - available for loan from the Library Media Centers.
Card Reader 12 in 1 (for digital camera and camcorder) - available for daily loan from the Library Media Centers.

ELMO Document Camera - available in some elementary Title 1 classrooms (Title 1 schools: Plympton, Stanley, Whittemore)

Flatbed scanner - installed at one computer in computer labs.
Flip Video Ultra Series Camcorder, 60-Minutes (Black) - available for loan from the Library Media Centers.
Headsets - available for all student computers. Contact Dick Marcou (5484) if you need a headset for a classroom computer.
Listening Center - a portable combination CD player and audio tape player/recorder with a built-in listening center with 5 headset jacks. Headsets are also available. Both are available for loan from the Library Media Centers.
