About the Parent Information Center (PIC)

The PIC is an information center for questions about the schools, and a central location for educational and community resources available to Waltham residents and the Waltham community.

The goal of the PIC is to provide parents with information about educational opportunities available in the Waltham Public Schools and in the community at large.

We help families understand how our school system works.  The PIC provides a bi-monthly newsletter with upcoming school events and calendar information. At the PIC you can find resources which include school district maps, school bus routes, school programs and events; parenting tips and curriculum guides; community program brochures, flyers and pamphlets; and much more.  The PIC provides translation services in Spanish to schools and interpreting services in Spanish to assist families in communicating with their children’s schools. Referrals can be given for other language resources.
