Meet Wednesday, September 5th after school in room 309 for an informational meeting and to start practices next Tuesday, September 11thin the lobby near the cafeteria. There will be no cuts or tryouts! Practices will run Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The first rehearsal for the fall musical, once on this island, will be today from 230 to 4:30 in the auditorium. Please check the bulletin board in the main foyer for the cast list. Any students who need to attend the meeting for NJHS are welcome to come late.
Applications for technical crew will be available today in the main office. Students interested in participating in stage crew. Should also plan on attending a short meeting after school next Friday, September 14. Please see Miss Jepsen or Mr. Cincotta with any questions.
Eye to Eye - a nationally recognized program facilitated by Mary Beth Hart, Jenny Pescatore and Laura Gould, is run through Bentley by students with disabilities for students with disabilities and ADHD. This is an art based program to empower SWD and build their confidence in learning. ETE starts 9/26 and is every Monday From 235 until 325 in room 304 (Vincuilla). Please see MaryBeth Hart or Jenny Pescatore for more details. This program requires a permission slip.
The National Junior Honor Society will hold informational meetings for 8th graders on Thursday, September 14th from7:15-7:55 or 2:40-3:30 in Mrs. Wakefield’s room. Students only need to attend one meeting. Sign-up forms will be outside Mrs. Wakefield's classroom (313). Please come and learn about this exciting group and how the application process works. SEED Money Talk- a finance literacy program run by Bentley University business students. They recognize the need to educate students in the matters of money and economics. Mentors and students will discuss finance, including bank accounts, check writing, debit and credit cards, the stock market, etc. The mentors provide opportunities for students to gain knowledge and skills with finances in their daily life. Money Talk starts Wednesday 9/28 and will be every Wednesday from 2:35-3:25.
Go to https://www.familyid.com/programs enter the word Waltham in the “Find Programs” box and click on the “search” button. Then follow these 2 easy steps:
- Sign up for your secure FamilyID account by entering your family name, email address and password. You will receive an email with a link to confirm your new account; click on that link.
- Log in and choose the sport. Fill out the information requested on the registration form. **Athletes will need to have a recent physical done in order to complete all paperwork and run on the team.
