Waltham Public Schools purchase the following databases that are available to our students and families from Internet connected computers outside of the schools:
Culture Grams Cultural information on dozens of countries, as well as the U.S. states, written and reviewed by natives and updated every year. home access: username is technology; contact your school's Library Teacher for the password or

Grolier Online (America the Beautiful, Amazing Animals of the World, Encyclopedia Americana, Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia, Lands and People, New Book of Knowledge, New Book of Popular Science, and Nueva Enciclopedia Cumbra en Linea) are available from your home if you are a student enrolled in or an employee of the Waltham Public Schools.
How to access if you are a student enrolled in or an employee of the Waltham Public Schools:Step 1
Click on the Get Grolier Password icon below. This will transfer you to an application page that will establish a personal account in order to access Grolier Online. Once you have established your account you are now ready to proceed to Step 2. You will not have to repeat Step 1 to access Grolier Online.
Step 2
To successfully access Grolier Online, you must complete Step 1. You will be asked to enter your user name and password. Upon entering this information, Grolier verifies the password and sets a cookie on your computer. Thereafter, no user name or password is necessary to access Grolier Online from that workstation unless the cookie is erased.
