Today, we have been having a fun Science Day at FitzGerald School! We have many different outreach programs here at FitzGerald School and they all came for free! WHY? FitzGerald was asked to be the site for this professional development opportunity for the Museum of Science outreach programs this fall. This means that all of our students had the chance to participate in a brand new science program today, while the presenters observed each other's presentations. In doing this, the outreach program presenters got to see each other in action and learned about more ways in which they can refine and improve their own presentations.
What does this mean for us? It means that every FitzGerald School student was able to participate in a new science-based assembly today! It also means that we got to see some new programs and determine if we would like to bring those programs back to FitzGerald in the future. We are very grateful for this opportunity! A big thank you to our fantastic PTO for their strong partnership with the Museum of Science over the years, which has helped us to earn this opportunity today.
Please see below for the outreach programs that have been here today and what grade levels they presented for. Please make sure to ask your child about this later this afternoon!
