Pop-Up Literacy
Family Reading Nights with Waltham Public Schools &
Waltham Public Library
You and your family are invited to enjoy an evening of reading great children’s books and sharing ideas for creating lifelong readers at home and at school!
Waltham Public Schools and Waltham Public Library leaders in reading and literacy will share some information about how children learn to read, Waltham High students will read stories with the children who attend, and every family will go home with a free book. Families will also have a chance to learn from leaders and one another about ways to promote a love of reading.
WHY?
We love reading, readers, and our community! Our schools and homes are a place where we open our imaginations to new opportunities through reading. Join us as we build our communities and connections through storytelling.
