Welcome to T. R. Plympton

"Living and Learning Together"

 Mission Statement

Students, parents and staff unite in a diverse community that values and promotes mutual respect, unconditional acceptance, the pursuit of academic excellence, professional motivation, cooperative contribution and life-long learning in a safe and secure environment.

Our Plympton Pride value focus this month is etiquette--We also continue to focus on positive attitude, responsibility, including others and determination.

Monthly Memo-April 2015

Now that the school lunch menu is printed on both sides, we will be sending the monthly memo as a separate document. Let's hope some real spring weather is on the way!

  • We welcomed  Mrs. Brenda McDougall on March 10th as secretarial substitute until Mrs. Brophy's return.
  • Congratulations to Mrs. Ann Curry and her husband who welcomed their third child, Andrew Joseph on March 31st-- We are fortunate to have Mrs. Wendy Plummer as permanent substitute in this class.
  • Luckily, we have been able to have outdoor recess on a rotating grade level basis and hope that we will have full use of our Kindergarten playground and Drake playground soon.
  • Redistricting--you may or may not be aware that a few redistricting plans have been discussed at recent school committee meetings-- Public Hearing -- April 15th 7:30 WHS Auditorium
  • Security Cameras- Security cameras have been installed in all schools and administrators have received necessary operational training. Signs have been posted at the front entrance indicating cameras are in the school. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call me.
