Greetings Plympton Families, We're Back! On behalf of the Plympton School Staff I would like to welcome everyone back to school. We had a busy, but successful first day. Mrs. Hurwtiz and I had an opportunity to meet with all grades to review school rules, entrance/dismissal procedures and our expectations for the new school year. During the next few days there will be much information going home with students, please be sure to check their bags/folders as some forms must be returned to school. We are excited to have student observers from Brandeis University and Regis College working in some of our classes during the fall semester and look forward to extra curricula programs that will be available to students during the school year. We hope to see you at the Open House! Mrs. Taddeo & Mrs. Hurwitz Reminders: Students are supervised by staff at 8:25 am and school begins at 8:42 am There is no student drop off in front of the school-this is reserved for buses and vans only Parking on Hazel Street and Farnsworth Avenue is prohibited Parents/ guardians dropping students off may park on Caughey Street, Plympton Street and walk students to entrance Drop off may be done at corner of Farnsworth Street and Farnsworth Ave with crossing guard-cars will not be allowed to travel down Farnsworh Street No cars may enter Farnsworth Street from Bacon Street CORI approval-you must complete a CORI in order to volunteer at school or chaperone a trip. These forms may be completed with Mrs. Brophy in the office. Thank you for helping to make safety for all a priority! |
