Welcome to the MacArthur School
From the Principal: Welcome Back to School! Sorry for the delay in my opening message for the 2010-11 school year. I am happy to report a smooth opening to our school year! This despite approximately 60 new students to our building with many different ways of getting to school. Getting children to and from school the first days of school is always a concern for me, but the office staff and our transportation companies have worked hard to ensure everyone gets to and from school in a timely manner. In addition to welcoming many new students we have several new staff members I'd like to introduce to you: Ms. Laura Albano - yearlong permanent substitute in kindergarten As I walked through classrooms today, teachers and students quickly adjusted to the school day and were having fun while restarting the school learning experience. It is my goal to highlight these endeavors in greater detail this year. Again I apologize for the late update and will make regular updates a goal for the 2010-11 school year. We have much to show as last year we provided publishing professional development for our staff and many teachers are already discussing projects they would like to post on our web-page, so stay tuned!
