Welcome to Kennedy Middle School
Teachers request that parents assists their children with organizing and filing their school papers on a regular basis. We have found that students have been having great difficulty with this task and could use all of the help they can get.
From the Principal:
Dear Parents and Guardians.
On April 8, 2014, Kennedy Middle School will be hosting a Curriculum Night for all our students and families. Students will be presenting exemplary work in all subject areas, and teachers will be available to answer questions about curriculum topics and skill development. This is a unique opportunity to view student work in your child’s current classes. The format will also allow students and families meet teachers in other grades and learn about future middle school class curriculums.
The evening will begin with an introduction in the auditorium at 6:30 and then families will break out into a “Science Fair” type format for the next hour. Here you will be able to witness projects created by students and their descriptions of the different curricula offered in the middle school. Because we want to focus on the teaching and learning of students, this will not be an opportunity to discuss individual students with teachers. If you have a question, please feel free to contact the teacher through e-mail or edline. We hope you can make this date and discover what the middle school curriculum offers our children. We look forward to seeing you there.
